Every Christmas, as part of a regular ‘sewing bee’ that I go to, we make each other a secret santa present out of a bag of scraps including fabric, ribbon, buttons and thread. Last year I was handed some gold thread, 2 small scraps of silk, a piece of wide ribbon and a large button… I was inspired!
So here’s what I made: a funky, sparkly patchwork star perfect to hang on your Christmas tree or around the home. They are also great for using up those scraps that linger in your sewing box!
