It strongly resembles a mei tai, with some key differences that the pattern owner feels are important. In this carrier, your baby is not supported at any time by the strength of sewing thread. There are NO weight-bearing seams. All your baby’s weight is supported by a strong, uncut piece of fabric and by 2 strong, uncut straps.
