It’s an ideal way to upcyle an old diary – something that would be unlikely to be reused for any other purpose. All the fabrics you’ll need are quite small – you could use an old shirt and a pair of jeans, like I did, for the main fabrics. The finished travel kit takes up no more room than your A5 diary did, and holds all your sewing bits and pieces neatly in place for you.
